If you are a manufacturer, Datum will provide you with the capability to consolidate all product information and images in one place and make it available to your internal users and also to your trading partners. If you are a distributor, retailer or operator; Datum will provide you with the capability to receive product information and images using one process. Datum will also make the product information available to your internal systems and users.

CPG product manufacturers and other product promotional organizations provide product information for DATUM Showcase. Many manufacturers publish to Datum via the GDSN, but some maintain it directly in Datum.

You can ask the manufacturer to publish those products to Datum.

DATUM Showcase allows users to view CPG product data sheets which are based on the DATUM product information database

Then you need to become a Datum subscriber so manufacturers can publish all items and all attributes directly to you.

If you are a Datum subscriber, then you will receive notifications about changes or new products. If you are only using Datum Showcase then you have to periodically review products to determine if anything has changed.
